Ingredients

Directions
  • Clean and cook the chicken (how to cook chicken).
  • Prepare your drained rice (how to make drained rice).
  • Drain the jam.
  • In a pot, add oil and cover the bottom of the pot with the flat bread.
  • Cover the bread with 1/3 of the drained rice.
  • Arrange the cooked chicken on top of the rice, and cover the chicken with the rest of the rice.
  • Cover the pot and allow the rice to steam up.
  • Cover the lid with kitchen towel, cover the pot and cook the rice for 30 minutes on a lower heat.
  • Mix a cup of rice with the jam.
  • Mix a few spoons of rice with 2 teaspoons of liquid saffron and mix gently.
  • To serve, arrange some of the rice and chicken on a serving plate, top with rice and jam mixture, layer by layer.
  • Decorate with saffron topping.
  • Melt butter and pour on rice.
  • Nooshe jan (enjoy). 
Tips

Make sure there are no pips in the jam before use.
