How to make Cashew Cream
Ingredients

making 1 cup cream

  • 1 cup raw, unsalted cashews
  • 4-5 tablespoons water, plus more for soaking
  • Water for socking
Directions
  • Place cashews in a bowl and fill with water. Allow the cashews to soak for 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Drain and rinse the cashews.
  • Place the cashews and water into a blender or food processor. Blend until desired consistency.
  • Serve with bread and butter or with desserts.
  • Enjoy
Tips

Always taste the food at the end and adjust the salt and spices to your taste.

Cashew cream will last in the fridge for 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 6 months. If frozen, be sure to run it through a blender after you defrost it to eliminate any lumps.

Always record the date on the container of food when storing in the fridge or freezer.
