How to make Cheese Burger
Ingredients
  • 300g minced beef
  • 150g mushrooms
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 2-4 slices of cheese (smoked)
  • 1 medium fresh tomato
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 4 lettuce leaves
Directions
  • Wash then grate mushrooms.
  • Grate onions.
  • In a bowl, mix beef, grated mushroom and onion.
  • Add salt, pepper, turmeric and cinnamon, then mix and work for about 3 to 5 minutes until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Now divide the mixture into 4 portions.
  • Cover a plate with plastic wrap.
  • Moisten the plastic wrap with water, place a portion of the mixture on top of the wrap and spread to the shape of a patty. Do this for the remaining portions of the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the patties for 3 minutes on each side.
  • Split the bun, spread one half with tomato sauce and mustard then stack the patty, cheese and all the veggies on top, then cover with the other half of the bun.
  • Serve with side dish of your choice.
Tips

You can stack and freeze these individually wrapped hamburger patties, and use as needed.
