4 servings

  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 5-6 glasses of water
  • 3 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil 
  • 1 Teaspoon liquid saffron (how to make ligid saffron). 

If you want to get a good tahdig you have to cook rice longer, but use a low heat.

Always taste the food at the end and adjust the salt and spices to your taste.

You can freeze this rice for later use.

Always record the date on the container of food when storing in the fridge or freezer.
