How to make Chickpea Crackers
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas (drained)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
  • Process chickpeas in a food processor until smooth.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix to form the dough.
  • Lightly knead the dough, wrap with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Grease an oven tray with oil.
  • Roll out small pieces to the desired shape making sure they all have the same thickness, and bake at 180 C or 300 F for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve with hummus, dips or cheese.
  • Enjoy (Nooshe Joon).
Tips

You can use canned chickpeas instead.

You can cook the chickpeas then freeze them for later use.

Always freeze cooked chickpeas with its liquid.

Always record the date on the container of food when storing in the fridge or freezer.
