How to make Pumpkin Dessert
Ingredients
  • 1 kg pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup rose water
  • 2 teaspoons liquid saffron (how to make liquid saffron(
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons  chopped or grated pistachio
Directions
  • Wash, deseed, peel and cut pumpkin into pieces.
  • Heat oil and butter in a non-stick frying pan.
  • Add pumpkin pieces and fry lightly.
  • In a small pot, mix water, saffron, sugar, rose water and bring to boil.
  • Arrange the fried pumpkin in a frying pan, add syrup on top, cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes.
  • Place the cooked pumpkin on a serving dish, decorate with chopped pistachio and serve warm.
  • Enjoy.
Tips

To make the pumpkin easier to cut, cook it in microwave for a few minutes.

Cooking Tips
When you’re making soft boiled eggs, cooking time will be longer if the eggs are not room temperature.
To have a spreadable butter for your sandwiches, keep the butter in room temperature for 1 Hour, or place it in the microwave oven for 15 to 20 seconds. Times vary depending on the amount of butter you need.
