  • Make Dolmeh Stuffing according ( how to make Dolmeh Stuffing
  • To make the sauc, in a pot, add oil, fried onion, tomato paste and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add salt, pepper, lemon juice, cinnamon, water and bring to boil.
  • Wash capsicum, cut the top and remove the flesh and seeds. Be careful not to break the capsicum. 
  • Fill the capsicums with some stuffing but don't over fill as the stuffing will expand when cooked.
  • Put the tops back on the capsicums after filling.
  • Arrange capsicums standing up, in a pot or deep frying pan.
  • Now add dolmeh sauce and bring to boil. Cover and let simmer until cooked.
  • You need to cook the Dolmeh for around one hour.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

Don't over cook the Dolmeh.

If you want to make this Dolmeh as a side dish, you should use 18 small or 12 medium capsicums.
