How to make Faloodeh Shirazi
Ingredients

6 servings

  • 3/4 cups hot water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup rose water
  • 1 cup rice noodles (chines rice noodles)
Directions
  • Mix water and sugar in a dish.
  • Stir until sugar completely dissolves and you get liquid syrup.
  • Add rose water and stir.
  • Place the dish in the freezer until it sets (24 hours).
  • Now in pot, boil water, add rice noodles and cook for7-8 minutes.
  • Drain noodles, rinse with water and leave aside to cool.
  • Now mix frozen syrup with noodles.
  • Place the mixture back in the freezer until it sets again. This time it won’t take as long may be 1 to 2 hours.
  • Add a little fresh lemon juice on top and serve immediately.
  • Now enjoy (Nooshe jan)
Tips

You have to cook noodles well to get the best results.

You can serve this dessert with the jam syrup of your choice.

This is a sweet dessert and will be nicer to add fresh lemon juice.
