How to make Fried Rice
Ingredients

4 servings

  • 2 medium sized carrots
  • 1 capsicum
  • 4 big brussels sprouts or 1 cup cabbage
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 250g chicken breast cut into thin strips
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cups rice (3 cups cooked)( how to cook rice)
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • Chili powder as much as you like
  • 2 tablespoons chicken powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Directions
  • Prepare the rice (how to cook rice).
  • Skin and chop garlic.
  • Thinly slice all the vegetables.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick frying pan, add garlic and ginger and fry.
  • As soon as they change colour, add chicken, cook on high heat for 5 minutes then leave aside.
  • In the same frying pan, heat more oil, add vegetables, salt, pepper, chicken powder, and fry on high heat for 4 minutes, then leave aside.
  • In the same frying pan heat the rest of the oil, add rice, hot pepper and fry on high heat for 4 minutes.
  • Now add cooked vegetables and chicken mix and fry for 4 minutes.
  • At the end add lemon juice and serve hot.
  • Enjoy.
Tips

You can use seasonal vegetables of your choice.
