How to make Chicken Gelatin (Abe morgh)
Ingredients
  • 1 kg chicken feet
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Water 
Directions
  • Clean and wash chicken feet.
  • Wash, skin and chop onion.
  • Wash, skin and chop garlic.
  • In a pot, add all the ingredients.
  • Make sure the water level covers the chicken feet.
  • Bring to boil uncovered.
  • Cover the pot and let simmer on a lower heat until cooked.
  • Cooking time will be around 1 hour.
  • Separate the chicken feet from the liquid.
  • Keep the liquid in the fridge for a few hours, then separate the fat / oil from the gelatin.
  • Use this gelatin to make soups and ash.
Tips

You can store and freeze this gelatin in an airtight container.

Always record the date on the container of the food when storing in the freezer.
