Ingredients

3 servings

Directions
  • Cut chicken to small pieces.
  • Wash, clean, and slice onion.
  • Place chicken pieces in a freezer bag.
  • Add salt, onion, saffron, yoghurt and olive oil.
  • Mix the ingredients in the bag, then tie the bag and refrigerate overnight.
  • Before you make the kebabs, prepear your rice (refer to the related video).
  • Skewer the chicken onto the wooden or metal skewers.
  • Place them between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and using the back of a knife, tenderize the chicken.
  • Lay foil on an oven tray, place the skewers on top and place the tray in the oven under the grill. 
  • Use medium heat to cook the kebabs.
  • Cooking time will be around 30 minutes.
  • Serve this kebab with rice, butter, somaqand fried tomato.
  • Nooshe jan (enjoy). 
Tips

If you’re using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use.
