How to make Sweet Cream (Khameh shirin)
Ingredients

makes 3 cups

  • 250ml chilled full cream
  • 2 tablespoons icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla powder or vanilla essence
Directions
  • In a bowl, add all the ingredients.
  • Start beating with an electric beater until thicker.
  • You have to make sure not to overdo it as it will pass the stage of cream and will turn into butter.
  • To know when the cream is ready, make a few lines with a fork on the cream. If the lines maintain shape the cream is ready. 
Tips

To get the best result, chill cream in the fridge for a few hours.

If you want to have low fat cream, I suggest beating an egg white according to the basic recipes on eggs and folding in the cream.
