Ingredients

6-8 serving

  • 600g spinach
  • 3-4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2/5 cups water
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon citric acid or 2 Tablespoons verjuice or lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dried Iranian plum (you can take the seeds first)
  • 250g minced beef for meatballs

Tips

You must make sure to let people know about the plum seeds in this stew.

You can take the plum seeds out before adding to the stew.

You can keep this stew (Khoresht) in the freezer in an airtight container for 3 months.

Always record the date on the container of food when storing in the freezer.
