Ingredients

6-8 servings

Directions
  • Wash, cook, skin and grate potatoes.
  • Wash, skin and grate onion.
  • In a pot or big bowl, place grated potatoes.
  • Add mince, salt, pepper and liquid saffron.
  • Break eggs and add to bowl.
  • Add grated onion and bread crumbs to bowl and mix well.
  • Now pick a small amount of the mixture, shape as you like and cover with bread crumbs.
  • Heat some oil in a frying pan and place the patties in.
  • Brown both sides of the patties.
  • Lay the patties on a piece of paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • Serve this food with bread or rice.
  • you can serve kotlet with fries as well (refer to the related video). 
  • Enjoy (nooshe jan).
Tips

You may need to add more salt when making this food, as potatoes absorb salt.

You can make this kotlet with minced chicken, turkey or fish.
