How to make Cooked Beetroot (Laboo)
Ingredients
  • 3 big beetroot
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cups water 
Directions
  • Wash beetroots carefully.
  • Place beetroots in a slow cooker, add water and sugar.
  • Cook over night.
  • Now place cooked beetroots in an oven proof dish.
  • Place dish in the middle shelf of the oven on 260 C or 400 F  for 10 minutes.
  • Lower the temperature.
  • Roast for 30 minutes.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

If you cook the beetroots in a normal pot, you need 2 and 1/2 cups of water and you should cover the lid with a clean kitchen towel.
