Ingredients

4-5 servings

  • 3-4 tablespoons fried onion (refer to basics section
  • 4 teaspoons Mediterranean tomato paste
  • 500g packet of pasta
  • 300g minced beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dry lemon powder (gard e leemoo)  
  • 1/4 cup verjuice or lemon juice
  • 2-3 cloves fresh, crushed garlic or 2-3 teaspoons of ready made garlic
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Lemon juice and olive oil to taste
Directions
  • Cook pasta and drain (refer to the related video). 
  • Make pasta sauce (refer to the related video). 
  • In a pot, mix drained pasta with macaroni sauce.
  • Add 1 tablespoon gard e leemoo (dried lemon powder) and cook on medium heat mixing occasionally.
  • If you want to get tahdig, avoid mixing.
  • Serve this food with fresh lemon juice and olive oil.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan).
Tips

You can use any type of pasta.
