Ingredients

3-4 servings

  • 250g minced beef
  • 300g penne pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups water
  • 5 tablespoons fried onion (how to make fried onion)
  • 1/2 capsicum chopped
Directions
  • For this recipe you need to use a pressure cooker.
  • Place minced beef and water into the pressure cooker and mix to loosen up the minced beef.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients one at a time, close the lid and cook on a high heat till steam emanates from the valve.
  • Cook for 15 minutes on a medium heat then remove from heat.
  • Release the steam then open the lid.
  • The pasta will be ready for you to enjoy.
  • Serve this pasta with lemon Juice and olive oil.
Tips

Some pasta will cook faster than others. With experience you will be able to adjust the cooking time appropriately.
