Ingredients
  • 250g minced beef
  • 1/2 cup fried onion (how to make fried onion)
  • 1/4 cup yellow split peas (lapeh)
  • 1/4 cup  mint and vinegar syrup (seckanjebeen syrup) (how to make mint and vinegar syrup ) Or 1 cup dried
  • 75g rice
  • 250g sabzi dolmeh (1 cup mixture of dried chives and dill) or 1 cup mixture of chopped fresh chives and dill.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
  • Place meat and fried onion into a pot and fry lightly.
  • Wash and cook yellow split peas with water for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare your drained rice (how to make drained rice).
  • In a big pot, combine all these ingredients and mix well.
  • Now that your stuffing is ready you can make your dolmeh.
Tips

You can make this stuffing one day ahead of time, or freeze it for later use.

you can cook yellow split peas with rice and then drain.
