How to make Kiwi Fruit Jam
Ingredients

makes 1 small jar

  • 300 grams kiwi fruit
  • 900 grams sugar (1 1/2 cups )
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
Directions
  • Wash and peel the Kiwi fruit.
  • Cut the kiwi fruit in half and grate or mash the flesh.
  • Place sugar, kiwi fruit and water into a pot and bring to boil.
  • Lower the heat and cook the jam for 20 minutes.
  • To see if the jam is ready, pour 2-3 tablespoons of jam into a small bowl and let cool. If it’s too runny, you need to cook it a few more minutes to allow it to get thicker.
  • You can serve this jam with bread and butter or with desserts.
  • Enjoy.
Cooking Tips
When you make layered Jelly, each layer should be completely set before pouring the next layer.
To have a spreadable butter for your sandwiches, keep the butter in room temperature for 1 Hour, or place it in the microwave oven for 15 to 20 seconds. Times vary depending on the amount of butter you need.
