How to make yoghurt at home(must)
Ingredients

Makes 1 kg

  • 1 liter milk (whole or skim)
  • 1/4 cup yoghurt 
Directions
  • Pour milk into a big pot.
  • Place pot on stove, bring to the point of boiling then leave aside to cool.
  • Pour the hot milk into a tight lid dish.
  • Mix another 3 tablespoons of milk with yoghurt and stir well.
  • When milk is at lukewarm temperature, add yoghurt mixture and stir well.
  • Cover the glass dish with a warm blanket and leave aside overnight.

  

Tips

In winter, you must keep the yoghurt dish warmer as the cold weather will stop the yoghurt making process.The right temperature for yoghurt making is when you're able to put your small finger in the hot milk and be able to keep it there.
