How to make Cooked meat (Goushte-Pokhteh)
Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg meat (lamb / beef)
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 cups water 
Directions
  • Wash meat.
  • Wash,skin and cut the onion and garlic.
  • In a pot, add all the ingredients and bring to boil.
  • Cover and let simmer on a low heat until tender.
  • Now use it according to the recipe in hand.
Tips

Time of cooking depends on the type of meat. Lamb cooks the fastest.

If you use a slow cooker, just use one cup of water.
