How to make Popcorn
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup popcorn (popcorn kernels)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Salt to taste
Directions
  • In a large pot, melt oil and butter then add popcorn.
  • Make sure the kernels are all coated with oil (add more oil if you need to).
  • Make sure that the kernels are evenly spread out and not clumped together.
  • Shake the pan back and forth to evenly distribute heat to all sides of the kernels.
  • Cover and cook over high heat until kernels start to pop.
  • After about 2 minutes, reduce the temperature and when the popping has stopped, remove the lid.
  • Add salt and serve hot.
  • Enjoy.
Tips

Remember to keep constant watch during cooking to avoid a fire.
