How to make Shredded salad (Salad Reshtehe)
Ingredients

4 servings

  • 1/3 of a telegraph cucumber or one short cucumber
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 courgette
  • 4-5 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
Directions
  • Wash lettuce leaves.
  • Wash all the veggies.
  • Using a serrated peeler shred the veggies.
  • Slice the tomatoes into thin slices.
  • Mix the shredded veggies and tomato in a bowl.
  • Add vinegar, olive oil, salt, mix well and leave aside for 20 minutes.
  • Serve in lettuce leaves with chopped parsley on top.
  • You can serve this salad with fried fish or chicken.
  • Enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

This salad will be better if left aside for 20 minutes after seasoning.
