Ingredients

6-8 Servings

  • 1/4 cup granual rice or normal rice
  • 1/4 cup rose water or 1 teaspoon rose water essence with 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • 1-2 teaspoons jam of your choice 
Directions
  • Wash rice and soak for 3 hours or overnight, then blend with mixer.
  • In a pot, add water and rice then bring to boil. Reduce heat and let cook until rice is soft.
  • Add milk, stir and bring to boil. Add rose water and stir occasionally.
  • Reduce heat, add salt, cardamom and let simmer for 40-50 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Serve in a serving dish and decorate with jam of your choice.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

You can make this food faster using rice flour. 

Cooking Tips
When making kebab and you’re using wooden skewers to make kebabs, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use.
To have a spreadable butter for your sandwiches, keep the butter in room temperature for 1 Hour, or place it in the microwave oven for 15 to 20 seconds. Times vary depending on the amount of butter you need.
