Ingredients
Directions
  • Wash, skin and slice the fruit.
  • Carefully cut the sponge in half, height wise.
  • Place one half in a dish and cover with a layer of marmalade.
  • Place the other half on top and press gently.
  • Cover the top with a smooth layer of sweet cream.
  • Cut the cake into square pieces with a big sharp knife.
  • Decorate with fruit pieces.
  • Refrigerate a few hours before serving.
  • Serve Shirini Tar with tea or coffee.
  • Nooshe jan (enjoy). 
Tips

You can use ready-made sponge cake as well.

You can use any seasonal fruits to decorate these cakes. Just use your imagination.
