Ingredients

2-3 servings

Directions
  • Prepare drained rice (refer to the related video).
  • In a pot add oil, then arrange bread pieces at the bottom of the pot.
  • Arrange rice on top and bring to the centre of pot.
  • Make a few holes on the rice pile, cover and allow to steam.
  • Cover the lid with a kitchen towel, place on pot and cook the rice for 30 minutes on lower heat.
  • Place a plate on top of the pot and turn over with the pot to place contents on the plate.
  • Serve as you like.
  • Enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

If you want to get a good crunchy rice (tahdig) you must cook the rice longer, but use a low heat.
