Ingredients

2-3 servings

Directions
  • Prepare drained rice (refer to the related video).
  • Wash, skin, and slice potatoes into one centimeter thick strips.
  • In a pot, add oil and liquid saffron.
  • Arrange potato slices to cover the bottom of the pot.
  • Arrange rice on top and bring all contents to the center.
  • Make a few holes on the rice pile, cover and let steam.
  • Cover the lid with a kitchen towel, place on pot and cook for 30 minutes on a lower heat.
  • Place a plate on top of the pot, turn over with the pot to place contents on the plate.
  • Serve as you like.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

If you want to get a good  crunchy rice (tadeeg) you must cook rice longer, but use a low heat.
