Ingredients

3-4 servings

  • 1-2 cups yoghurt ( How to make yoghurt )
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint, tarragon, basil, spring onion and radish.
  • At least 2 to 3 fresh herbs from above
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Nan Barbary or pita bread (How to make Nan Barbary )
Directions
  • Clean, wash and chop herbs.
  • Dice or grate cucumber and place in a bowl with herbs.
  • Add yoghurt, salt, pepper, raisins, water, dried mint and mix well.
  • Cut bread into small pieces and add to the mixture 15 minutes before serving.
  • Serve cooled with ice cubes.
  • Enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

Yoghurt must be sour. (You can keep the yoghurt out of the refrigerator overnight).
