Ingredients

For 1 kilo ice cream

  • 1kg vanilla ice cream
  • 3-4 teaspoons rose water
  • 2 teaspoons liquid saffron
  • Ice cream wafers
  • 1/2 cup cream  
Directions
  • Beat cream for a few seconds using a fork.
  • Cover a plate with plastic wrap and spread the cream on top.
  • Cover the plate and cream with another sheet of plastic wrap.
  • Now place the plate in a freezer bag and place in the freezer for a couple of hours.
  • Take the ice cream out of the freezer a half hour before mixing with other ingredients.
  • Now soften the ice cream then add saffron, rose water and mix.
  • Crush frozen cream to small pieces. 
  • Now add cream pieces to the ice cream and mix well.
  • Transfer ice cream to another dish, decorate with pistachio  pieces and put back into the freezer.
  • Serve when set and ready. We normally serve this ice cream with ice cream wafers or as is.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan) 
Tips

The amount of saffron in this ice cream is optional.
