How to make Home-made Garlic Bread
Ingredients

makes one small roll

  • 1 medium bread roll.
  • 15g softened butter (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon mashed garlic (2 garlic cloves)
  • 1 teaspoon dry fenugreek leaves
Directions
  • You can cook this bread in the oven or on the stove.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Cut the bread roll into 1 inch sections without cutting all the way through the bottom.
  • Mix butter, fenugreek leaves and garlic.
  • Spread the mixture in between each cut, and spread the remaining mixture on top of the roll.
  • Wrap the bread loosely in foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Open foil to expose the top of the roll and bake for another 5 minutes, or until hot and crispy.
  • If you’re using the stove, preheat the pot for 1 minute. Place the wrapped bread in the pot, cover and cook for 4 minutes, turning the bread every minute.
  • Now enjoy (Nooshe Jan).
Tips

You can use any kind of bread roll for this recipe.

You can soften the butter by heating it in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.

Cooking Tips
To have a spreadable butter for your sandwiches, keep the butter in room temperature for 1 Hour, or place it in the microwave oven for 15 to 20 seconds. Times vary depending on the amount of butter you need.
When you grill, remove the meat from the fridge one hour ahead of time, to allow them to reach room temperature.
