How to make No Knead Bread
Ingredients

Makes 1 loaf

  • 3 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oat
  • 2 teaspoons yeast granules (instant dried yeast)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/2 cups hot water (approx.)
Directions
  • Generously grease a bread tin or dish.
  • Mix all dry ingredients together and pour the hot water in stirring all the while.
  • The dough is best not stiff and not runny.
  • Scrape dough into prepared tin.
  • Preheat oven on 50 c for 15 minutes.
  • Cover the dish and wrap in kitchen towel then place in the warm oven to rise, for 1 hour.
  • Dough should double in size.
  • Bake@ 200C or 375F for 35 minutes and let cool before cutting.
