How to make Home-made Tomato Paste (roub gojeh farangi)
Ingredients
  • 1kg ripe tomatoes
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons oil 
Directions
  • Wash and cut tomatoes.
  • Blend in blender and pour into a big pot.
  • Add salt, oil and bring to boil.
  • Simmer on medium heat until all liquid evaporates.
  • Bottle and store in the fridge.
  • Add to food as directed.
  • Now enjoy (nooshe jan). 
Tips

Summer tomatoes are the best to use. 

Cooking Tips
When making kebab and you’re using wooden skewers to make kebabs, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use.
To have a spreadable butter for your sandwiches, keep the butter in room temperature for 1 Hour, or place it in the microwave oven for 15 to 20 seconds. Times vary depending on the amount of butter you need.
