How to make Home-made Salad to Go
Ingredients
  • Big selection of your favourite herbs and vegies
  • Lemon juice or balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Small and medium snap lock plastic bags
Directions
  • Prepare and mix the salad.
  • Place olive oil, lemon juice or vinegar with salt in a small snap lock plastic bag and seal well.
  • Place one serving of the salad in a medium snap lock plastic bag along with the prepared sauce and seal well.
  • Refrigerate and use as you need.
  • You can save these bagged salads in the fridge at least for 3 days.
  • Enjoy
Tips

Always record the date on the container of food when storing in the fridge or freezer.

Cooking Tips
If you're using a slow cooker to cook beans, you don’t need to soak them. Also use less water.
To have a spreadable butter for your sandwiches, keep the butter in room temperature for 1 Hour, or place it in the microwave oven for 15 to 20 seconds. Times vary depending on the amount of butter you need.
